-
$2.50/month (per email user) included
both services + upgrade to mail box size to
100MB

they require installation server side.
Virus Protection services:
-
Will scan & delete virus infected
emails
-
This service will scan both incoming
and outgoing mail
-
It scans and protect both levels:
-
Local level (i.e.
outlook): thus peace-of-mind
-
Virus infected incoming
email will be dealt on the
server level before it is
downloaded to your local email
client (i.e. outlook) with and
Webmail
-
Outgoing messages are also
scanned just as the incoming.
This is especially important if
a computer gets virus infected
and starts sending virus
infected spam mail.
-
Webmail- server side:
-
Virus Protection: this
is great protection since
most anti-virus (i.e.
Norton) only protect your PC when
virus infected email is
downloaded to the local side
not while email is viewed on
browser. Without this
setup, if you view a virus
infected email on a browser
your PC will get infected.
SPAM Protection services:
-
All incoming message will be scanned
for Spam using different spam guidelines
including spam blacklist, content
filtration and other spam elements
included in the email
-
The server establishes 1-10 Spam
Alert Level (SAL). Lower setting will
scrutinize the message more thoroughly
with increased likely hood of a message
being tagged as spam.
-
Since people have different
consideration for spam, SAL is set set
by individual users. Thus email accounts
under the same domain may have different
SAL.
-
Messages picked up as spam are
tagged accordingly.
-
If you receive a lot of spam mail
that is non-tagged accordingly; you
would contact us to lower your SAL
-
It is your preference if you wish to
receive such message and you would have
your mail client (Webmail, Outlook,
etc..) manage the message; or we could
set the server to delete the message
prior to being.
-
If you elected to receive spam
tagged messages and wish to NOT to have
them come in to your inbox but to a spam
designated folder; then your would use
filtering rules of your email client to
automate the process.
